About FANECA

Faneca is a fish that used to sting my foot when I was little, while I walked along La Lanzada beach. Afterward, I had to go to the lifeguard to get rid of the venom and, perhaps, also the spine.

Inside, I wished the spine would stay because that way, when I returned to the towel with my family, I could tell a more epic story by exaggerating the animal’s voracity.

This scene repeated itself about four times every summer. The sting was annoying, but I remember it with a smile, the smell of sunscreen, and the taste of a sandy sandwich. Because, of course, once difficulties are overcome, they no longer seem so big and turn into a great story to tell.

Faneca Comunicación was born in 2019, in summer, and its name represents that uncomfortable point that calls for action, motivates overcoming difficulties, and starts the adventure.
